Aximion is an open source based upon the patent free 3D engine called Axiom. Aximion is essentially a 3d desktop virtual interactive environment for Windows based operating systems. In its basic design it is an environment which allows users to interact with and manipulate 3d models and files in a way similar to how they would if they were using an actual computer. The project spent three years before it was finally released as a free downloadable application for Windows operating systems, which can be freely downloaded.
Aximion offers two main approaches to get involved in the project. One is to download the Aximion viewer software which allows you to view and edit your models within the Aximion space from any windows PC, even on a computer which does not contain an axial Windows driver. The other approach is to download and install the Windows drivers needed to run the Aximion software itself. This will allow you to seamlessly run the application on any windows computer with a working axial Windows driver.
Aximion has many unique features which have made it one of the most popular choices for people looking for a fun and challenging project which is also a lot of fun to work on. You can create stunning high-tech backgrounds which will look like they have been custom made just for you! You can change the whole look of your Aximion space with the simple click of a button and you can also add on different elements such as wires and pipes to make your Aximion realistic and fun.
